Erskine, Hall & Coe present their seventh annual Small Works, Great Artists exhibition, which features exceptional 20th century and contemporary works by British and international talent.
Among the highlights is a stunning olive vessel by Jennifer Lee from the early 2000s, displayed alongside a selection of her thrown pieces from recent years, creating a dynamic dialogue spanning two decades of her career.
Koji Hatakeyama’s latest cast bronze vessels reveal an exciting, fresh direction in his work. Striking Urushi lacquer sculptures by Genta Ishizuka and earthy, textured tea bowls by Machiko Ogawa are complemented by a captivating green-glazed stoneware tea bowl by Ryoji Koie and Shihoko Fukumoto’s framed fibre works. Elegant new porcelain vessels by Sara Flynn are another standout feature of the exhibition.
