THE The Adventures of Moose & Mr Brown – Paul Smith’s First Children’s Book

Paul Smith has published his first ever children’s picture book, featuring colourful illustrations created by Sam Usher.

The Adventures of Moose & Mr Brown is the whimsical tale of globetrotting animals and the ability to find inspiration in the most unlikely of places.

Mr Brown is an international fashion designer who bumps into a moose at the airport and agrees to help him track down his long-lost twin brother, Monty.

As Moose and Mr Brown travel the world, they encounter a multitude of other animals and offer their help by designing clothes to suit their particular needs – readers will encounter slippers for sloths, parkas for penguins and scarves for giraffes.

The story takes inspiration from events in Paul’s remarkable career, while the main characters are based on toys from Paul’s London office, along with other artefacts and curiosities that he has collected on his frequent trips around the world.

“I’ve known Moose and Mr Brown for a long time and I’m delighted to be able to bring their stories to life in my first ever children’s book”, said Paul. “Sam’s illustrations are really special and capture the colour and energy of Moose and Mr Brown’s adventures perfectly!”

The book, which is published by Pavilion Children’s Books, is available as a hardback at £12.99, plus a special boxed limited edition that includes a signed print at £60. A t-shirt is also available, for ages 2 – 6 years for £48.
