Eckhaus Latta at Camper SS18

For their fourth Together collaboration, American design duo Eckhaus Latta once again pushes the boundaries of footwear with a contemporary hybrid design that is at once both glamorous and gritty. This season, the underground label reimagines our Karolina ankle boot in knitted, sock-like uppers and contrasting seasonal shades that add a colorful, handmade aesthetic to our S/S 2018 collection.

For this season’s collaboration, the footwear takes on a life of its own with raw visuals from Eckhaus Latta that explore the backstreets of New York and draw attention to the paradoxes of urban isolation and cosmopolitan elegance.

 

ECKHAUS LATTA is an American fashion label designed by Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta. The pair met while attending the Rhode Island School of Design, where they each earned a BFA. Prior to starting their own label in 2011, Eckhaus and Latta designed and worked with several brands, artists and institutions, including Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler, Matthew Barney, Opening Ceremony, The Antonio Ratti Textile Center at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and three ASFOUR. The designers release collections bi-annually during New York Fashion Week, and they have also exhibited projects, videos and collections with the following institutions: Venice Biennale, Kraupa-Tuskany Zeidler Gallery (Berlin), Gavin Brown’s Enterprise (NYC), New Museum (NYC), Museum of Art and Design (NYC), Galerie Isabella Bortolozzi (Berlin), MOCA (LA), MoMA PS1 (NYC) and The Hammer Museum (LA).
