Eckhaus Latta at Camper

American design duo Eckhaus Latta return this season for their third Camper Together collaboration. This season’s concept puts an unconventional twist on an all-new style from the Fall/Winter 2017 collection, fusing the couple’s avant-garde aesthetic with our own refreshingly offbeat approach to footwear.

The pair met while attending the Rhode Island School of Design, where they each earned a BFA. Prior to starting their own label in 2011, Eckhaus and Latta designed and worked with several brands, artists and institutions, including Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler, Matthew Barney, Opening Ceremony, The Antonio Ratti Textile Center at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and three ASFOUR.

For this edition, Eckhaus Latta proposes their own version of our Thelma, a vintage-inspired heel that plays with flared volumes and refined heights. Inspired by the cloth upholstery typical of public transportation, the deconstructed design features uppers that combine rich leather with inverted jacquard fabric to give it a tongue-in-cheek, anti-fashion vibe.

Offered as both a slip-on moccasin and a zip ankle boot, this women’s style is available now.
